The SIB is an independent, non-profit foundation that includes 65 bioinformatics research and service groups. Thus we are now connected to over 800 scientists within this fantastic network.
SIB helps shape the future of life sciences through excellence in bioinformatics, by providing life scientists and clinicians in academia and industry with world-class bioinformatics resources and services, and by leading and coordinating the field of bioinformatics in Switzerland. On top of that, SIB also announced that it wants to embrace the challenge to strive for bioinformatics excellence in personalized health. Now, that is for sure something we like too!
